3rd Shift Fabrication Supervisor (Welding – Turbine / Energy Industry) – Missouri – Direct Hire – 3rd Shift (Overnight)

Position Overview
We are seeking a Fabrication Supervisor to lead a 3rd shift team within a turbine manufacturing and repair environment. This role is responsible for overseeing welding and fabrication operations, ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are consistently met.
This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with experience in turbine, power generation, or heavy industrial manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise 3rd shift fabrication and welding operations
Ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently met
Manage employee performance including coaching, evaluations, and discipline
Monitor production schedules and communicate progress to leadership
Oversee quality inspections and ensure compliance with welding standards
Track and report on labor hours, production goals, and operational metrics
Drive continuous improvement initiatives including 5S and process enhancements
Ensure accurate reporting for safety incidents, quality issues, and timekeeping
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on welding/fabrication experience (GMAW, SMAW, FCAW, cutting processes)
Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
Experience in turbine, power generation, or heavy industrial manufacturing REQUIRED
Strong knowledge of AWS and/or ASME welding standards
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
Experience with shop equipment, measuring tools, and fabrication processes
Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred
Additional Requirements
Must be able to work 3rd shift (overnight)
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
