About The Role
As a Millwright at Zekelman Industries in Niles, Ohio, this role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical and hydraulic systems critical to plant operations. From equipment repairs to preventative maintenance and fabrication, this position directly supports plant efficiency and uptime. Rotating Shift

Pay:

$32.27/hour + $6,000 Sign‑On Bonus + Production & Monthly Attendance Bonus

What You’ll Do

Perform mechanical and hydraulic maintenance on industrial equipment and systems throughout the plant

Troubleshoot mechanical drives and manufacturing equipment to ensure operational uptime

Weld, cut, and fabricate parts for equipment installation and repair

Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime

Prepare detailed reports documenting work performed in accordance with company requirements

Promote and adhere to OSHA and company safety procedures including LOTO, Arc Flash, and other regulations

Lead safe work practices and maintain a safety‑first attitude

Work rotating shifts, including weekends and overtime as required

Perform other duties as assigned

Maintain regular, full‑time, onsite attendance as an essential job function

Who You Are

5 years of experience in an industrial environment performing mechanical and hydraulic maintenance

High school diploma or equivalent required

Trade or technical school diploma preferred (including welding, hydraulics, blueprint reading, mechanical training)

Certified Welder (3G Plate and other certifications preferred)

Proficient in mechanical and hydraulic system troubleshooting

Strong fabrication, welding, and cutting skills

Computer literate and capable of interfacing with maintenance systems

Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills

Comfortable working at elevated heights

Physical Abilities

Must be able to work in physically demanding conditions, including standing for long periods, climbing, lifting, bending, and working in elevated or confined spaces as needed.
