
Lube Tech

Works under direct supervision and follows established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. Performs minor repairs and limited preventive maintenance (PM) on assigned equipment.
Reports to
Shop lead technician and/or Maintenance Manager
Responsibilities
Responsible for oil/lube/tire changes, 13-point inspections, brake inspections and tire repair and replacements, and miscellaneous vehicle repairs
Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles
Perform routine oil & lube services on commercial vehicles
Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility, including general housekeeping duties
Capable of lifting a minimum of 75 lbs.
Perform oil change services, checking and topping off of all fluids, checking tire pressures and cabin filters in a timely manner
Perform tire rotations, mounting and balancing
Assist senior mechanics with needed tasks
Power wash exterior body of trucks, under hood, framework, and rear working section
Conduct safety checks on vehicles
Assist with service calls for breakdowns
Perform other maintenance related work as required
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards
Keep shop and tools clean and properly stored, dispose trash regularly, sweep floors to prevent slip and trip hazards
Other duties as assigned by shop lead or higher supervision

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass pre‑employment screenings
Shift / Schedule
Monday‑Friday
Additional hours may be needed
Shift is 10‑12 Hours
