
Maintenance Assistant II - FT

Job Summary
Perform skilled multi‑trade maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of hospital systems, including HVAC/boiler, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general construction. Ensure compliance with safety standards, conduct preventative maintenance, respond to emergencies, and support facility operations through equipment, vehicle, and grounds upkeep. Maintain accurate documentation, collaborate with departments and vendors, and apply strong problem‑solving, communication, and time‑management skills to support safe, efficient, and patient‑focused operations.
Position Details
Starting Pay Range: $22.89/hr – $29.76/hr, depending on experience.
Position Status: Full-time, non‑exempt
Shift: Day (participation in on‑call rotation)
Shift Differentials: Nights +10% of base wage (after 6pm), Weekends +15% of base wage
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 3 years relevant experience
Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experience in healthcare facility maintenance and plant operations (preferred)
