About The Role
Are you ready to take the next step in your career? ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking an entry‑level Design Technician I to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will contribute to the design of overhead and underground electrical utility projects, gaining hands‑on experience in the field of electrical engineering. This position is 75% remote, with occasional travel in Northern and Central Wisconsin.
Key Responsibilities
Design electrical systems for overhead and underground utility projects, including creating detailed construction drawings and bills of materials.
Provide supporting documentation such as pole force loading calculations, voltage drop calculations, and permitting requirements.
Support pre‑construction activities, answering questions related to the job site and design.
What We’re Looking For
Entry‑level experience (0‑3 years) in a design engineering role.
Proficiency in drafting/design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation).
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and grow in a technical environment.
Associate’s degree in a technical related field is preferred.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) tools.
Familiarity with electrical distribution systems and concepts.
Motivated, proactive, and eager to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
