The Parts Driver delivers and picks up parts and equipment for the dealership, and sells parts to customers over the counter, in the shop or on the phone.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts and vendors
Coordinates with Parts Manager and other parts counter persons for last minute picks‑ups or deliveries
Verifies invoice matches purchase order for each pick‑up and delivery
Keeps an accurate log of pick-ups and deliveries and collects recipient signatures on each entry
Loads and unloads truck each night and turns in paperwork and undelivered parts
Assists customers in person and on phone with questions regarding parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner
Provides a high level of service to internal and external customers
Pulls and fills orders from stock
Notifies manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention
Notifies customers and/or service advisors with special order parts arrival
Backup Parts Advisor, when needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior dealership experience preferred
Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check and pre-employment drug screening
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
High School Diploma or equivalent
Outgoing, upbeat personality with excellent interpersonal skill
Must be authorized to work in the United States
