
Plant Reliability Electrician (PLC/Drives)

Schedule: Monday Friday (11:00 pm 7:00 am)
Compensation: $25 $35 per hour; may be eligible for a short-term incentive.

Responsibilities
Keep plant assets reliable through preventive maintenance on machinery and systems.
Install, maintain, and repair industrial power and control systems, including motors, motor control devices, and VFDs.
Troubleshoot electrical, PLC, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
Diagnose and repair substation breakers and MCC equipment; perform low/medium voltage breaker maintenance.
Read and interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, sketches, engineering specifications, and work orders.
Assemble, install, adjust, and calibrate equipment; dismantle, repair, rebuild, and replace parts as needed.
Adhere to plant safety policies; align work with local, state, and national electrical codes.
Join RCA and Safety Improvement Teams; support Operational Excellence and Lean initiatives.
Document work and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
Complete tasks associated with lower Maintenance Levels when required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Associate degree or apprenticeship certificate; or journeyman-level experience.
Hands-on expertise with 120/208/240/480V systems and motor control circuits.
Strong electrical installation, troubleshooting, and general maintenance/repair skills in an industrial setting.
Proficiency with hand tools and measuring instruments to verify dimensional requirements.
Computer literacy and ability to use company-sponsored applications.
Ownership of tools appropriate to your skill level.
Willingness to support Holidays, Outages, Call-Ins, and other assignments as needed.
