Summary
Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced

Integrated Construction Coordinator II

to implement and oversee Virtual Design and Construction processes throughout phases of a project. Strong communication skills are needed as you will interact with staff at all levels in an ever‑changing environment. Your ability to remain flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with a high level of integrity and confidentiality is vital to success in this role.

Responsibilities

Plan, implement, and oversee VDC processes through appropriate technology platforms.

Design optimized road and site grading models, alignments, profiles, corridors, grading groups, etc. using Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Work with survey data; communicate with project field teams through Trimble Business Center software to deliver designs to survey equipment.

Use Mortenson BIM/VDC to perform existing conditions modeling, cost estimation, phase planning (4D), site analysis, design reviews, 3D visualization, 3D coordination, site utilization planning, construction system design, digital fabrication, 3D control planning, and record modeling.

Serve as point of contact for construction team members on VDC processes and reports during all phases of construction.

Document work processes to improve or change current company process standards.

Assist in training on VDC processes.

Encourage participation in Mortenson’s IDAT (Integrated Delivery Advancement Team) community of practice among integrated construction team members.

Plan daily work activities.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, or equivalent field.

Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and/or ArcGIS software.

4+ years of related experience.

Survey data knowledge and/or experience preferred.

GIS data management is a plus.

Completion of intermediate level BIM/VDC software training.

Detail orientation to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously.

Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices.

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, project, and web applications.

Positive and professional attitude and strong customer‑service skills.

Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies effectively.

Strong communication, teamwork orientation, initiative, problem‑solving, and leadership skills.

Open to change based on diverse input and feedback.

Current driver’s license.

The base pay range for this role is $89,500 – $120,800. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
