Position Overview
This role supports the environmental closure, remediation, and redevelopment of retired and retiring coal-fired power plant sites. As part of transition from coal to renewable energy, this position will help develop and execute a long-term (10+ year) remediation portfolio focused on environmental compliance, demolition, and site transformation.
Projects include coal ash management, contaminated soil remediation, demolition planning, and regulatory compliance coordination.
This is an expanding team position with strong long-term stability and meaningful environmental impact.
Required Qualifications
Civil Engineering
or
Environmental Engineering
5–7+ years of relevant experience (flexible; ideal range 5–15 years)
Experience in one or more of the following
Coal ash management
Regulatory compliance work
