Production Supervisor

at its Jefferson, Iowa facility.

The Production Supervisor oversees production operations and employees within their assigned area to ensure a safe working environment. Ensures products are manufactured in accordance with standard operating procedures, resolves operational issues, fosters a continuous improvement culture, and drives efficient and timely completion of production schedules.

Specific Responsibilities
Operations

Develop and manage production schedules for the assigned area, setting clear priorities to meet operational targets.

Coordinate, assign, and adjust employee work schedules to ensure staffing aligns with production needs.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve manufacturing challenges to maintain workflow and product quality.

Evaluate departmental performance and implement initiatives that enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

Safety

Promote and ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Enforce company operating and safety policies and procedures.

Collaboration

Partner with Purchasing to determine material requirements and ensure timely availability of all necessary components.

Collaborate with Engineering to establish standard operating procedures and quality standards for each work cell.

Work closely with the Maintenance team to establish maintenance procedures for all equipment in assigned work area.

Minimum Qualifications

High School degree or equivalent required. Associate degree in a related field a plus.

Solid manufacturing knowledge

Excellent time management and communication skills

Must be able to speak, read, and understand English fluently

Strong computer and MS Office knowledge and skills

Minimum Job Experience Required

3-5 years of work experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred.

Management experience a plus.
