Responsibilities
Lead generator integration into existing and future electric and e‑REV vehicle architectures.
Lead the team to provide technical system support throughout all phases of the vehicle program to ensure robust system engineering and program execution and performance.
Work with the program team to understand the required functional and physical properties of an e‑beam system.
Lead system DFMEA and manufacturing PFMEA activities.
Drive Tier 1 suppliers to deliver programs on time with best cost and quality.
Collaborate with Vehicle Engineering and Vehicle Controls teams to ensure system/sub‑system interface delivery.
Identify, track, and resolve engineering issues.
Support program launches.
Education
BS in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering or a related field required.
Qualifications
5+ years of transmission or eDrive unit development, or Powertrain experience.
5+ years of Microsoft tools experience.
5+ years of CAD experience.
Masters in product development or other Engineering degree preferred.
Proficiency in MBSE tools, CAD/CAE simulation environments, and data analysis platforms.
Versed in UML and SysML modeling languages preferred.
Basic software writing in Python or Groovy preferred.
Experience with MagicDraw/3DX toolkit preferred.
Experience analyzing a descriptive model to assist in complex decision making preferred.
Prior experience in systems design and processes.
Proven delivery of balanced quality, cost, weight, function, and timing attributes for components or subsystems.
Clear communication skills and high motivation to exceed expectations in a constantly changing product landscape.
Formal systems engineering knowledge to solve complex problems.
Expertise in systems engineering principles, including P‑diagrams, DFMEA, and functional safety.
Strong foundation in FMA processes and documentation.
Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, electric motors, battery systems, and traditional ICE components.
Knowledge of driveline controls/communication systems.
PPAP experience.
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $115,500 to $218,100. Final determination of salary grade will be based on the candidate’s skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility, and competitive market value.
