Business Analyst
TriCom Technical Services, Overland Park, KS, United States
We are looking for a highly inquisitive Business Process Analyst to join a global infrastructure leader in Kansas City. This is a 6-month+ contract-to-hire opportunity focused on driving AI-enabled execution and modernizing legacy engineering workflows.
The Setup
Location: Overland Park, KS (Local candidates only).
Onsite Policy: Must be 100% onsite for the first 90 days. Following onboarding, the role transitions to a 3/2 Hybrid schedule (Wednesday is a mandatory anchor day).
The Mission
You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT. We need a "journalist" mindset—someone who isn't afraid to ask "why" repeatedly until complex, vague business needs are distilled into crystal-clear technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Elicit and document requirements for diverse projects, from AI tool implementations to complex engineering design workflows.
Facilitate UAT and occasionally lead project-based scrums.
Utilize ServiceNow for demand management and Microsoft Copilot for internal efficiency.
Who You Are
Ideally 4–6 years in a BA/BPA role. However, we value talent over tenure—whether you have 3 years of high-impact work or 20 years of expertise, we want to talk.
You are naturally curious, a great listener, and a master at synthesizing information.
Proficiency in requirements gathering, process modeling, and data facilitation. Experience with EPC firms or AI integration is a significant plus.
Why Apply?
This is a chance to work at the forefront of AI implementation within a massive enterprise environment. If you excel at asking the right questions and turning ambiguity into a roadmap, apply today.
This is a 6-Month+ Contract opportunity with eventual conversion with our Overland Park, KS client. Employee benefits include Medical/Dental Benefits, Paid time off, Paid Holidays, and a 401(k) plan (with an immediately vested company match) available with TriCom during the contract period. H-1 B visa sponsorship is not available for this position. No third-parties, please.
