Position Overview
We are looking for a detail‑oriented
Bankruptcy Claims Specialist
to prepare, review, and file claims and related documents. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely filings across multiple jurisdictions.
You’ll be responsible for handling a high volume of files while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and file Proofs of Claim (POC)
Prepare Transfer of Claim (TOC) filings
Handle PCN (Proof of Claim Notices) and PPFN documentation
Conduct basic due diligence on bankruptcy files (review collateral, loan data, and supporting documents)
Ensure all filings meet court requirements and deadlines
Upload and manage filings through PACER and CM/ECF systems
Track filing status and maintain accurate internal records
Communicate with internal team members regarding file status, issues, or missing information
Maintain high accuracy while managing daily/weekly volume targets
Qualifications
2+ years experience in bankruptcy claims, legal processing, or similar role
Familiarity with POC, TOC, and bankruptcy filing procedures
Experience using PACER / CM-ECF systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage high-volume workflows efficiently
Comfortable working with deadlines and time‑sensitive filings
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and case management systems
Preferred (Not Required)
Experience working with mortgage servicers or foreclosure/bankruptcy firms
Understanding of Chapter 7, 11, and 13 processes
Experience handling nationwide filings

Ability to manage and scale volume (multiple files per day)
Strong internal communication and reliability
