We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Ophthalmologist with fellowship training in Cornea and External Disease to join a physician-led, multispecialty care organization. This is a unique opportunity to practice advanced medical and surgical corneal care within a collaborative environment supported by cutting-edge technology and a strong clinical team.

Position Overview

This role focuses on the diagnosis, medical management, and surgical treatment of corneal and anterior segment diseases. You will work in a well-integrated ophthalmology service line with strong subspecialty collaboration, a robust referral base, and access to advanced surgical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and manage corneal and external eye diseases, including keratoconus, corneal dystrophies, dry eye disease, infectious keratitis, and ocular surface disorders
  • Perform corneal and anterior segment surgeries, including cataract surgery and corneal transplantation (DMEK, DSAEK, PKP)
  • Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative surgical care
  • Collaborate with ophthalmologists, optometrists, and subspecialists for coordinated care
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and integrated EMR systems
  • Educate patients on treatment options, surgical outcomes, and long-term eye health
  • Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based care initiatives
Practice Environment

Qualifications
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of ACGME-accredited Ophthalmology residency
  • Fellowship training in Cornea and External Disease
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
  • Eligible for California medical licensure
  • Strong surgical expertise and patient-centered communication skills
