Schedule: Mondays & Fridays, 7:00 AM 3:00 PM (Fixed day shift)
Location: Jackson, MI Outpatient Digestive Health Center
Call Requirements: None! (No nights or weekends)
Coverage: ASAP Indefinite
Work in a modern outpatient GI center with a small, supportive physician team ️ ️
Mix of outpatient procedures and hospital-based patient care
Level II Trauma Center with advanced resources for inpatient care
Epic EMR system streamlined workflow
Opportunity for long-term locum coverage with potential for extension
Outpatient: 30-minute colonoscopies & EGDs, 60-minute double procedures
Hospital-based: care for 14 patients/day
Procedures: Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and advanced GI procedures
Supervision & coordination with GI physician team
Provide high-quality patient care in both clinic and hospital settings
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology
Michigan medical license (or willing to obtain)
BLS & ACLS certification
Local provider (mileage reimbursed)
Familiarity with Epic EMR system preferred
