Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South
is the preeminent youth development organization in Southeastern Massachusetts, serving more than 2,000 youth annually from nearly 50 communities at our Clubhouses in Brockton and Taunton, Camp Riverside, and community extension sites. Our mission is to nurture strong minds, healthy bodies and community spirit through youth-driven, high-impact programming in safe and fun environments, to ensure that every child has a positive place to spend their out-of-school hours. Our Clubs provide educational, nutritional, and developmental support services to help youth reach their full potential and achieve future success. We engage youth through daily homework help and tutoring, college and career exploration, creative arts, community service projects, leadership development opportunities, daily fitness and recreation, and more. Our ultimate goal is to help young people become caring, responsible, and productive adults.

Responsibilities
The Food Intake Coordinator will build partnerships and processes to support the ongoing operations of our Freight Farms hydroponic Greeneries, mobilize our "Leafy Green Machine" mobile pantry, and operate Monthly Market distribution events.
Develop tools, trackers, standard operating procedure documentation, and reports to support operational efficiency and provide insight into impact and outcomes.
Source additional food and personal essentials (hygiene products, winter essentials, etc.) to complement distributions of Freight Farms produce.
Build awareness of nutritional assistance resources and other community supports through the development of a food rescue marketing and outreach plan.
