ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

About the Role
We are seeking an ICU RN for a permanent position in a mid-sized acute care hospital. Openings on days or nights (rotating weekends).

This role is ideal for nurses comfortable with high-acuity patients and critical care environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to critically ill patients
• Perform ongoing assessments and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications, including vasoactive drips
• Educate patients and families on care and treatment plans
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate documentation

About the Facility

• 250+ bed acute care hospital with advanced services including cardiac, stroke, oncology, and emergency care.
• ICU is a 10-bed, private room unit with continuous monitoring.
• Typical ratios: 1:2 3
• Patient population includes medical/surgical ICU, vented patients, cardiac, pulmonary, and low-acuity trauma cases.
• Strong team environment with hands-on leadership and newer unit setup.
