SouthTek Resources , a full service tactical headhunting firm specializing in the unique staffing needs of the Technology, Defense and Aerospace, Manufacturing, Security, and Private Equity markets.

We are a team of Senior Level Talent Sourcers who help clients increase their return on Human Capital Assets by hiring the best. We are expanding our Sales and Recruiting teams and are currently hiring Technical Staffing Account Managers in the Metro New York, NY area due to growth.

Responsibilities

Identify and generate new business and potential target clients through outside sales activities such as cold calls, prospecting, scheduling meetings and relationship building to grow account base.

Present Contract, Contract-to-Hire, and Permanent Placement services to companies in the local marketplace.

Work directly with existing and new clients to maintain and develop long-term business partnerships.

Employ a consultative sales approach with IT leadership, HR, and management.

Establish and maintain relationships with decision makers across industries.

Conduct in-person meetings with decision makers to understand human capital challenges and recommend solutions.

Follow up with prospects to develop business relationships through CRM (phone, email, in-person) and maintain CRM and ATS records.

Collaborate with team to optimize deals and share knowledge to accelerate results.

Qualifications

Successful sales experience selling a service (preferably in the staffing industry). IT/Technical Recruiters transitioning to Account Manager roles are encouraged to apply.

Ability to identify and generate new business and potential target clients through outside sales activities.

Documented track record of achieving objectives.

Strong sales mentality and understanding of a sales lifecycle from sourcing to closing.

Critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, sound business judgment.

Excellent telephone presence and written communication; team player and leader; strong negotiating and cold calling skills.

Ability to work from a remote office.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.

Notes / Additional Information

1099 contract hire from a remote office with a 50/50 commission split.

Maintain own home office expenses and taxes; daily communication with the team.

Work with the team to split duties, collaborate, and share client accounts to synergize on deals.
