Position Summary
This position is responsible auditing non-gaming paperwork, assisting in the preparation of cost of goods sold, tenant postings and participating in physical inventories.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Performs daily audits of non-gaming source documents and reconciles paperwork to system generated reports
Posts transactions into the LMS Accounts Receivable module and ACSC systems
Posts requisitions and cost transfers into the Stratton Warren system
Participates in inventories and compares physical counts to accounting records
Posts comp adjustments and reconciles point of sale reports to the comp system
Secondary Duties And Responsibilities
Adheres to internal operating procedures and controls
Assists in the preparation of monthly journal entries
Compiles check and wire requests for tenant payments
Tracks the receipt of tenant monthly reports and payments
Minimum Education And Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
One year of experience in a computerized accounting environment
Competencies
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
Basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
Basic knowledge of accounting terms and practices
Ability to comprehend lease agreements
Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
Knowledge of internal operating procedures and controls
Training Requirements
Knowledge of ACSC, Infinium, LMS, RPOS and Cognos software
Basic understanding of Standards of Operations and Management
Proficient in the operation of electronic scanning devices
Physical Demands And Work Environment
Office work environment
Must be able to sit in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time with frequent bending, climbing and lifting during physical inventories
Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
