OVERVIEW
Marquette University invites applications for an instructor of practice to teach two undergraduate course sections per semester within the Marketing Department during the 2026 Fall Semester. Courses will include Integrated Marketing Communications and Strategic Brand Management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow course syllabus and teaching plans.

Instruct, manage, and supervise students in a professional manner.

Develop and deliver course content using lectures, discussions, and other experiential learning activities.

Prepare and administer quizzes, exams, and projects.

Evaluate and grade student work in a timely and constructive manner.

Maintain a minimum of three office hours per course per week.

Stimulate and encourage class discussions to foster critical thinking and application of sales concepts.

Maintain accurate records of student performance.

Be available and responsive to student questions and support needs.

Remain current with professional and academic trends in sales and marketing.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities : Experience teaching at the college level and demonstrate skills consistent with teaching excellence and instructional innovation. Industry experience is a plus but not required.
