$17.50 per hour (starting)
Givens, a long‑standing provider of warehouse, distribution, transportation, packing, crating, and air freight services, has been growing rapidly since 1957.
Responsibilities
Secure freight to flat racks and open top containers.
Operate 35k industrial forklifts as required.
Clean out and maintain containers and work areas.
Follow directions, work independently or in a team.
Handle customer freight carefully.
Requirements
Experience moving heavy objects.
Work outside in a warehouse yard, securing freight to ocean export containers (open top / flat rack).
Unload import freight from ocean containers.
Use chains/binders, strapping, tape measures, and power tools (nail guns/saws).
Pay attention to detail and handle freight carefully.
Be able to withstand outdoor conditions during all seasons.
