NUTRITION OPERATOR (PART TIME)

Position
Part‑time Nutrition Operator (Saint Vincent, 2001 West 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46260). Hours Monday‑Friday, rotating weekends. Online applications only.
Pay: $15–$16 per hour.
Requirements: Prior customer service or call center experience preferred.
Job Summary
Responsible for securing patient meal selections and special requests via telephone or face‑to‑face interactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Follows proper telephone etiquette and procedures with patients, visitors and healthcare professionals.
Offers menu alternatives and special dietary options accommodating allergies, sensitivities, cultural, ethnic and religious preferences when patients inquire or require additional selections.
Responds promptly to patient needs, resolves concerns or complaints immediately or reports to supervisor as appropriate.
Complies with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to ensure food preferences meet diet order limitations.
Collaborates with nursing to ensure accurate diet prescriptions and that patient food needs are met.
Observes confidentiality and patients’ rights policies as outlined in HIPAA policies and procedures.
Adheres to federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department procedures.
Follows HACCP guidelines when assembling and distributing food supplies to ensure quality and safety.
Completes all daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in corporate policies and procedures on time, meeting all deadlines.
Performs other duties as assigned.
