AV Design Engineer

Responsibilities
Answer AV presales calls for system design from dealers and Crestron sales teams.
Create AV system design quotes for medium to large projects.
Assist in the preparation of consultant-specified bids and submittals.
Actively assist customer design request cases via Salesforce from Tech Support.
Create system drawings for medium to large projects.
Conduct new product research and compare to competitor products on the market.
Support the Enterprise Sales Team with the development of formal written proposal packages for hardware, software and services.
Other duties or responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's of Engineering preferred
3-5 years of related experience required
CTS certification preferred
Experience in AutoCAD, Visio, Excel/Word, etc. to develop documentation and project submittals
Experience in Audiovisual Equipment, Videoconferencing Endpoints, Network Equipment, Network Services, Hardware, Software, and Managed Services offering
Must have industry experience with Audio Video & Network distribution systems
Customer-facing role serves as an escalation point of Sales Support
Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to learn new technologies
Works under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment
Assists less experienced peers
Knowledge and proficiency with Streaming AV solutions design. Creates hand drawings of AV systems
Knowledge and proficiency with Network Teleconferencing and Unified Communications solutions and design
