Key Responsibilities
Process weekly and biweekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees
Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, and deductions
Manage multi-state payroll compliance, including tax withholdings
Handle certified payroll and prevailing wage reporting (if applicable)
Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy in systems
Collaborate with HR and accounting teams on employee changes and reporting
Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications
2+ years of payroll experience, ideally within construction or a similar industry
Experience with multi-state payroll processing
Familiarity with certified payroll and/or prevailing wage is a plus
Proficiency in payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, or similar
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
