
Project Manager — Wastewater Treatment Plant Design

The ideal candidate is aProject Manager/P.E. that can lead our wastewater treatment plant work.
An established consulting and engineering organization focused on infrastructure modernization and environmental systems is seeking a senior-level professional to lead complex treatment facility and utility projects. This position offers the opportunity to guide technical design efforts, manage multidisciplinary teams, and support the delivery of large-scale public infrastructure initiatives.
Role Overview Serve as a key contact for clients and support long-term relationship development.
Lead proposal development and contribute to securing new project opportunities.
Define project scope, schedules, and resource requirements.
Manage technical design and execution of water and environmental treatment projects.
Oversee project teams, budgets, timelines, and overall project performance.
Provide technical guidance on complex engineering challenges and design solutions.
Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure successful project delivery from concept through completion.
Mentor staff and support professional development initiatives.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (civil, environmental, or related field).
Professional engineering licensure or ability to obtain.
Several years of experience supporting or leading utility, treatment, or infrastructure design projects.
Experience managing technical teams and client relationships.
Strong communication, leadership, and project coordination skills.
Familiarity with engineering design tools and standard project delivery practices.
Preferred Background Experience with public utility or infrastructure projects.
Involvement in treatment facility or environmental system design.
Experience coordinating design teams or serving as a client representative.
