The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences at Monroe Carell Jr. Children s Hospital at Vanderbilt seeks a full-time pediatric radiologist for the clinician-educator or clinical practice academic tracks in Nashville, TN.
Position Summary:
International medical graduates seeking to apply for available physician positions must be certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG), must have passed the United States medical licensing examinations (USMLE Step 1 and Step 2), must have completed a United States based residency even if they have completed a residency or practiced medicine in another country, and must hold a current J-1 or H-1B visa.

Position Summary:
- Section comprised of 18 fellowship-trained day time faculty and two ACGME fellows
- Focus on providing high-quality imaging interpretations with a culture of collegiality, collaboration, & creativity
- 358-bed tertiary referral center with a catchment area extending to southern Kentucky. Monroe Carell Jr. Children s Hospital at Vanderbilt features Centers of Excellence for treating various pediatric disorders and is also home to a Level IV-designated NICU and an active maternal-fetal medicine program. Multiple pediatric subspecialty surgical programs include cardiac, orthopedics, trauma, urology, neurosurgery, ENT, and ophthalmology
- The department is equipped with two new state-of-the-art ultrafast dual energy CT scanner with plans to acquire photon counting scanner in the upcoming fiscal year, four MRI scanners (1.5 and 3T), state-of-the-art flat panel digital fluoroscopy, scintigraphy, and Siemens US
- Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience

- Pediatric Radiology CAQ certified/eligible, additional training/experience in pediatric cardiac imaging and/or MSK preferred but not required
- Hold an MD or equivalent degree
- ABR eligible/certified
