Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee daily financial operations and support strategic decision-making. This role is responsible for core accounting functions, cash management, financial reporting, and human resources administration. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, proactive, and capable of managing both transactional and high‑level financial responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily bookkeeping, ensuring accurate and timely financial records
Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger for multiple entities with multiple currencies
Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
Invoice, process, and record customer payments
Manage credit card expense tracking and ensure policy compliance
Monitor and manage daily cash position and liquidity
Prepare and distribute ad‑hoc reports including weekly cash flow analysis, weekly sales reports, vehicle utilization, pricing analysis, and other KPI monitoring
Publish monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
Identify variances, risks, and cost savings opportunities to improve financial performance
Manage product pricing models and partner with sales team to ensure margin integrity
Analyze product pricing and propose adjustments based on demand and seasonality
Assist external tax advisors with annual tax filings and reporting
Set, monitor, and update sales goals with the help of leadership
Ensure adherence to GAAP, internal controls, local/state/federal regulations, and accounting best practices
Support employee onboarding, including documentation review and system setup
Proactively identify and resolve operational and financial challenges that impact sales and the customer experience
Utilize CRM systems and other data analytics to monitor sales trends, customer behaviors, and core metrics
Support team of drivers, tour guides, logistics, and sales coordinators
Assist with strategic M&A evaluation and integration
Foster a collaborative and performance‑driven culture that encourages accountability and professional growth
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
3‑5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting systems
Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and financial data analysis
Understanding of EU compliance, finance, and tax regulations
Experience with payroll systems and benefits administration
Familiarity with Stripe, HPS, or similar payment platforms
Proficiency in CRM software and data analytics tools for sales tracking and reporting
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy and an ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with strong problem‑solving capabilities
Proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset
Demonstrated success in growing businesses and exceeding revenue targets
Discretion in handling sensitive financial and employee information
