Job Summary and Qualifications
As the Business Office Supervisor, you will contribute to the company’s mission, vision, and values by coordinating daily operations for the front office, including overseeing medical records, scheduling, chart preparation, patient registration, and collecting patient deposits.

What you will do in this role

Coordinate business office employee schedules daily to ensure that assigned areas are staffed.

Responsible for accurate and timely completion of chart preparation, data entry, and pre-certification as required by insurance plans and collections.

Reconcile daily front office collections.

Work with nurse manager and/or nurse coordinator to ensure daily schedule is streamlined.

Maintain a blocked schedule list.

Responsible for opening and/or closing procedures of the facility based on hours worked.

Maintain a log for the center front desk petty cash fund.

Serve as backup for business office positions when needed.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office setting (a.k.a. ambulatory surgery center, hospital, doctor's office).

Lead or supervisory experience preferred.

BLS certification may be required as per facility standard.
