Overview
Join our Fiesta Mart Store Operations Team as a Meat Clerk.
Responsibilities
Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service.
Assist customers, clean shelves, and display cases.
Clean, fill, and rotate the Meat Wrap displays.
Work with customers to take special orders and with the Meat Cutter to determine items to cut.
Lift items up to 60 lb.; bend, stand, stoop for prolonged periods.
Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment and adhere to Food Handler Card requirements.
Qualifications
Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co‑workers.
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and employees.
Use common sense to follow written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift/move up to 25 lb.; frequently up to 45 lb.; occasionally up to 60 lb.
Food Handler Card or equivalent certification.
Desired Additional Skills
Basic PC/Outlook skills.
Retail Management Certificate.
