Responsibilities
Ensure the health and safety of the students
Provide assistance with academic, social, and behavioral needs of students.
Support the teacher and administration’s direction while reporting progress daily.
Reinforce PBIS goals and objectives.
Schedule & Compensation
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (52‑week year-round position)
Pay rate: $17.50–$19.95 per hour, based on education and experience
Tuition assistance for those seeking higher education
Benefit eligibility after 30 days of employment (first day after the 30‑day period)
ASCEND – Career Accelerator Program
Qualifications
High School Diploma required. Associate’s Degree or completion of two years of post‑secondary education from an accredited college or university preferred.
Previous experience working in a special education or behavioral healthcare setting with students who have severe or complex behavioral/emotional issues preferred.
