
Vehicle and Equipment Repair Technician

Position Summary
Provide preventive maintenance and repairs to grounds equipment such as mowers, skid steers, backhoes, forklifts, two‑cycle equipment, and utility carts (gas and electric). Track work performed by completing work orders.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
40% – Perform repairs, as needed, to return equipment to operation.
40% – Perform preventative maintenance on equipment per PM work order schedule.
10% – Complete work orders to track work.
10% – Order necessary parts.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies needed to perform the work. Optional guidelines: experience in the field of work related to the position’s role may be substituted on a year‑for‑year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of preventive maintenance and repair of small engine equipment, diesel‑powered equipment, and electrical utility carts.
Alternate Option
