
Senior Systems Engineer (FMS Support)

Responsibilities
Sabre Systems is currently recruiting for a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Direct and Time Sensitive Strike Program (PMA-242) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. This Program Office is responsible for the acquisition, development, and sustainment of direct and time-sensitive strike weapons. This billet's primary focus is to support PMA-242's Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases to current and future countries. Most FMS cases involve the Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile - Extended Range (AARGM-ER) and the Advanced Precision Kill Weapons System (APKWS).
The selected candidate will be responsible for not limited to:
Performs tasks with little or no guidance or leads the execution of complex tasks.
Has demonstrated knowledge in the area of engineering expertise.
Engineering support for the development of the Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile - Extended Range (AARGM-ER)
Engineering support for the Advanced Precision Kill Weapons System (APKWS).
Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan and design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems.
Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
Applies systems engineering methods and tools in the development of advanced complex systems and performs functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems.
Performs programmatic or technical leadership roles in an organization identifying, formulating, designing, and/or testing practical solutions to engineering problems.
Guides the engineering development of modern complex systems.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Must have a master's degree in a technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university or a bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university and an additional four (4) years of recent and relevant experience.
Must have minimum of ten (10) years recent and relevant experience in an engineering position, three (3) years of which must be directly related to DoD systems.
Prior Foreign Military Sales (FMS) experience is highly desired.
Prior weapons experience is desired.
Demonstrated experience in the area of engineering expertise is required.
Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
Must be a US Citizen.
On-Site position at PMA-242 Program Office.
Compensation Statement
At Sabre Systems, LLC, compensation is based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific requirements; however, final compensation will be determined by individual qualifications and applicable contract terms. The general salary range for this position is as follows: $148,330.00 - $164,420.00
