Design Engineer

Position: Design Engineer - Hydraulics

Location: On-site in Rockford, IL

Salary Range: $80K - $125K (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of cartridge valves and related hydraulic components

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product performance, manufacturability, and reliability

Apply hydraulic systems knowledge to support broader engineering initiatives

Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation

Conduct design reviews and support prototype testing and validation

Provide technical support to manufacturing and quality teams

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Proven experience in hydraulic design, especially cartridge valves

Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and fluid power principles

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
