Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Part‑Time Unlimited Term Communications Assistant. The Communications Assistant will perform casual labor, assist with production of articles, videos, and content for the PSIA department’s outreach efforts.

Responsibilities
Write content for departmental website and other communications deliverables, including articles and event reporting.
Manage the development and distribution of innovative and effective communications materials for students, faculty and graduate audiences.
Maintain and carry out departmental communications plan.
Maintain appropriate relationships with faculty, students, peers and alumni.
Work closely with University Relations, Graduate Programs, Admissions, and other UNG departments to maintain efficient and effective working relations and processes.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
Office environment background preferred. Article writing experience preferred.
Proposed Salary
$17.06–$18.77 per hour.
