Overview
Position Summary: Perform functions to plan, organize, and implement prevention education, training programs and activities/events that are developmentally and culturally appropriate for students, staff, parents and families. Manages the day-to-day operations of the High School Health and Wellness (HSHW) Program grant with internal and external partners and assures the planning and implementation remains on track. Perform functions to assist in monitoring the development of existing and new programs, while providing support in the areas of training, educating, recruitment, and media. Ensure the quality and integrity of all programs while developing new strategies for growth and expansion.

Reports to : Director of District Safety
Responsibilities
Perform functions to plan, organize, and implement prevention education, training programs and activities/events that are developmentally and culturally appropriate for students, staff, parents and families. Manage the day-to-day operations of the High School Health and Wellness (HSHW) Program grant with internal and external partners and ensure the planning and implementation remains on track. Assist in monitoring the development of existing and new programs, while providing support in the areas of training, educating, recruitment, and media. Ensure the quality and integrity of all programs while developing new strategies for growth and expansion.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors or equivalent experience in Social Work (such as Behavioral Health) or Education or other human service field such as Family Counseling, or Substance Abuse Treatment.
Cumulative professional experience; or the equivalent of an Arizona Credentialed Prevention Professional Level 1; and
Two years public speaking experience working with youth prevention programs and/or facilitating groups.
Grant management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Well-organized and demonstrated ability to multi-task
