Overview
You will work directly with Christopher Ford, Esq., who has owned and operated his own family law firm for over 15 years. The firm’s approach to training is hands‑on: you will initially shadow Mr. Ford, assisting with the management of his clients and cases. In court and during depositions, you will also learn the ins and outs of civil litigation with plenty of opportunities for drafting, including appellate work. As you gain more skill, confidence, and proficiency, you will have the opportunity to handle your own clients and their matters. Training includes direct feedback on oral advocacy, drafting, case strategy, and courtroom presence to prepare you for lead‑chair responsibilities. The goal for all attorneys trained under Mr. Ford is to teach them civil litigation and trial skills so that they become proficient in all areas of law, while they train and master family law in Nevada.
Ford Law also offers a health‑insurance PPO plan covered for employee 100% by the firm, with the ability to add dependents at employees sole cost. Also, we offer 401(k) and matching.
