
Construction Contracts Administrator

About the Role
This position is based on-site in Camas, WA, and serves as a vital link between project managers, the accounting team, and subcontractors. As a Construction Administrator, you are responsible for the entire lifecycle of subcontract agreements, from drafting the initial documents to ensuring every compliance box is checked before work begins. It is a role for someone who is naturally organized and enjoys a mix of technical contract review and daily coordination with people. Because this position involves cross‑training in accounting and providing backup office support, it is a great fit for someone who likes variety in their day and takes pride in being a reliable, steady presence for the team.

Job Duties
Draft and issue subcontract agreements, following up consistently until they are fully executed.
Coordinate with Project Managers and the accounting team to ensure all compliance items and documentation are submitted on time.
Monitor and track essential compliance requirements, including insurance, licensing, certified payroll, and lien waivers.
Utilize construction management and accounting software, specifically Sage 300 CRE and Procore, to manage project data.
Communicate with employees, clients, and vendors through phone, email, and Teams in a professional and grounded manner.
Perform cost data entry on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to keep project financials accurate.
Provide backup support for the front desk and phones as needed.
Cross‑train in various accounting functions to provide coverage for the team during vacations or time off.
Handle sensitive and confidential contract information with a high level of integrity.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in construction administration or accounting‑related duties.
An Associate’s degree in accounting or a related field is a plus, though equivalent experience is also valued.
Strong reading comprehension skills with the ability to analyze and review construction agreements for accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Familiarity with Sage 300 CRE and Procore is a plus.
Basic knowledge of mechanics lien laws in Washington and Oregon is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
