The MGM Receptionist position is a PRN float pool expanded role covering front office responsibilities within the offices of the physician network. Some travel is required, as needed, for office assignment locations within multiple counties in Georgia and in South Carolina.

1 Year Office Practice Setting - Required
Knowledge of medical terminology - Preferred

Core Job Functions
Efficiently and effectively register patients in software system, with attention to detail, the customer experience, and data accuracy. Performs eligibility checks for upcoming patient appointments and procedures. Accurately input patient demographic and insurance information, and obtain current copies of HIPAA, consents, financial responsibility, insurance cards, collect co-pays and other payments, etc. Alert patients of network status. Effectively answer incoming calls. Manage and routes calls accordingly. Processes incoming and outgoing documents. Collects payments
Provide administrative support to include but not limited to preparation of correspondence and completion of document requests per protocol, scanning of documents per protocol and timelines set within the department. Work with the clerical coordinators and front desk team as needed to maintain provider schedule and provide back-up scheduling.
