Job responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic mental health conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications and other treatments.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members and coordinate patient care.
- Manage patients with challenging behaviors safely.
- Participate in teaching and mentoring.
- Ensure compliance with legal and institutional policies.
Qualifications: - MD or DO with valid Oregon medical license.
- Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
