Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a SmallTalk Developer to join their team. As a SmallTalk Developer, you will be part of the Specialty Software Engineering department supporting large-scale initiatives and complex challenges. What's the Job?
Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives within Specialty Software Engineering.
Review and analyze complex challenges requiring in‑depth evaluation of variable factors.
Contribute to the resolution of issues and collaborate with client personnel to meet deliverables.
Package and deploy applications built with SmallTalk in non‑production environments.
Support large‑scale planning and contribute to project success through technical expertise.
What's Needed?
4+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, or education.
5+ years of SmallTalk development experience.
Experience with packaging and deploying SmallTalk applications in non‑production environments.
Good understanding of OOPS techniques and design principles.
Clear communication skills and strong analytical abilities.
