Role: Customer Service Agent at Menzies Aviation. Responsibilities
Assist passengers with check-ins, verification, gate information, baggage claims, and other passenger issues in the airport; maintain a positive attitude while assisting.
Host self-service kiosks and verify passengers’ documents prior to boarding.
Interpret identification labels along with baggage and cargo routing tags.
Ensure work areas (check-in, lobby, gate, baggage) are organized and functional.
Make announcements, check baggage, and assign seats in the gate area.
Qualifications
Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Computer skills to operate computer-based systems.
Proficient reading, writing and speaking English; excellent communication skills.
Positive, can-do, upbeat personality; able to remain calm under pressure.
Able to stand for long periods at the ticket counter and gate check-in areas.
Requirements
Willingness to live within travel distance at the present moment (as applicable).
Benefits and Compensation
Pay: $21 per hour; $22.75 per hour for weekend work (Friday 5:00 pm through Sunday midnight).
