At Sartorius, we are seeking a Services Technician to join our team in Ann Arbor, MI. In this onsite role you will have the ability to troubleshoot & repair electromechanical devices to original manufacture specifications. You must also be able to legibly document all repair work, and prep unit for shipment back to customer. The holder should have thorough knowledge of electromechanical instrumentation and calibration procedures, software, techniques and tools, used in order to carry out the necessary tasks.
Onsite position located in Ann Arbor, MI.
What you will accomplish together with us:
Perform metrological checks of customer instrumentation
Perform software upgrades and modifications on new orders as needed
Repair and evaluate customer equipment as well as demo/returns
Maintain accurate repair records
Utilize your knowledge to prepare repair estimates
One of your tasks will be to follow and understand ISO 9000 quality system
Work with Service Administrative team to ensure customer satisfaction
Use your knowledge and abilities to cross check (QC) other technicians work as required for certain SOPs
Otherwise carry out other duties necessary and related to workshop activity
What will convince us:
Associate degree with a focus on Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or High School Diploma/GED and equivalent combination of industry experience and/or technical/military training
3+ years' experience in related field experience
Strong aptitude to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
Experience working with ISO requirements and other relevant guidelines and regulations
Familiarity of Windows based software, with the ability to learn and understand diagnostic software
Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
