Job Summary
The primary responsibility of this position is to operate the blender machine on the production floor. This includes mixing batches according to specifications, performing tank cleanouts and changeovers, and achieving established output rates. The position also involves managing inventory, including work‑off materials, and performing various assigned tasks by the supervisor when not actively formulating. The role requires a willingness to accept frequent supervision and assistance with machine setup.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications (Required)
Ability to follow written formulations, ability to make products according to standards and quality specifications, ability to coordinate activities with the supervisor, willingness to work overtime, including weekends as needed, excellent attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment (not required, but a plus), strong focus and ability to work in a team‑oriented environment, ability to learn multiple product codes, strong time management and organizational skills.

The Blender Operator job takes place in the production cooking line that involves a fast‑paced setting, requires flexibility and the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain focus and work efficiently as part of the team, work in a cold environment (40°F – 45°F) while performing tasks, being exposed to moderate noise levels, and wearing PPE all the time to follow the company’s Safety and Food Safety Policies.
Physical Demands
Employees must be able to stand, walk, or climb stairs for long periods (8+ hours). Use their hands for tasks, reach with their arms, and communicate verbally. Ability to move objects up to 50 lbs. if necessary, moderate to heavy physical effort, ability to bend and lift. Close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
