We are seeking a Maintenance Technician who is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
Essential Job Functions
Perform routine preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues in equipment such as conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and production lines
Respond to maintenance service calls and complete repairs in a timely manner to minimize production downtime
Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to troubleshoot and repair systems
Operate machine tools and hand tools to fabricate, modify, or repair parts and structures
Log maintenance activities and ensure accurate record‑keeping
Assist in the installation, relocation, or removal of manufacturing equipment
Comply with safety regulations and company policies, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), PPE, and hazard communication standards
Collaborate with production staff and engineering teams to resolve recurring equipment issues
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
2+ years of relevant machining experience
Technical Skills:
Understanding of Controls HMI, Conveyor Systems, Low Pressure Boiler Systems
Interpersonal:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
Welding experience, Arc Class Certification
Physical Requirements & Environment
Mobility:
Frequently required to stand and walk
Strength:
Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds
Vision:
Requires close, distance, and color vision, as well as the ability to adjust focus
Environment:
Work takes place in a factory setting with exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate noise
