Cardiology - Interventional Physician

Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for locum coverage May 1 June 30, 2026.

Position Details:

• Inpatient + call coverage
• Adult/geriatric population

• 2 inpatient admissions per day

• Work alongside existing cardiology team (no supervision required)
• EMR: EPIC

Schedule:

• Onsite: Mon Fri, 7a 5p
• Weeknight call: 5p 7a
• Weekend call: 24-hour coverage (Sat Mon)
• Specific STEMI/unassigned call dates in May

Procedures:

• PCI, angioplasties, heart caths, coronary angiograms
• Carotid stenting, atherectomy, embolic protection
• Full interventional cardiology scope

Facility:

• 250-bed hospital with 30 ICU beds
• Ongoing coverage due to potential group departure
• Travel, lodging, and rental car provided

Requirements:

• Board Certified (required)
• Active VA license (required)
• BLS & ACLS (required)
• Clean malpractice history
• NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days, required at submission)
