Surgery - Thoracic Physician Assistant

Hospital is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join its elite Cardiothoracic Surgery team in Columbus, GA!

Details:

• Full-time, on-site role
• Hospital-employed position
• Work alongside two highly skilled surgeons and a collaborative multidisciplinary team
• 1:3 call rotation
• Proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting required
• Previous experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
• Assist in surgical procedures, including endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH).
• Radial artery harvesting experience is a plus but not required.
• Prescribe medications and manage perioperative care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and recovery.
• Participate in call rotation and provide high-quality, compassionate care.

Compensation/Benefits may include:

• Competitive base salary: $160k-$200k (based on experience + skill set)
