Technician III, Repair & Maintenance Engineering
The primary responsibilities for this role include managing technical tasks in planning, designing, and implementing maintenance programs for facilities and equipment. This role requires building effective relationships to coordinate maintenance work, reviewing engineering specifications, and participating in equipment installation.
Responsibilities
Handle technical tasks related to planning, designing, and implementing maintenance programs to optimize facility and equipment availability and productivity.
Read and use schematics, manuals, technical drawings and diagnostic tools effectively.
Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems.
Complete preventive and corrective maintenance on schedule.
Clearly communicate issues, root causes, and repair status.
Document work accurately in Maximo.
Collaborate with other departments – operators, supervisors and engineers.
Strong troubleshooting skills with a logical, methodical approach, resolve issues quickly while minimizing downtime.
Proactively identify potential issues before they become failures.
Assist in coordinating maintenance engineering work and liaise with production staff to coordinate repair work, statutory safety inspections, and the supply of new plant and equipment with production schedules.
Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Make decisions within the scope of your tasks, requiring advanced technical skills and problem‑solving abilities.
Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training.
Meet individual job requirements and contribute to the overall compliance of the organization, committing to continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Bring
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Fluency in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English.
Work Hours: B - shift (12-hour shift) Monday-Wednesday and every other Thursday, 4:00pm-4:00am.
Location: Onsite.
Travel Requirements: Up to 10%.
Relocation Assistance: None.

Preferred
Proven experience maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.
Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical drawings.
Strong troubleshooting skills with a logical, methodical approach.
Technical certification or license for electrical/HVAC, and experience in industrial/manufacturing.
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Experience in industrial, manufacturing, facilities, or utilities environments.
CMMS experience and basic computer skills.
