Overview
At ABB, we help industries run leaner and cleaner. This role reports to the Production Manager and is located in Senatobia, Mississippi. It may involve supervisory responsibilities or shipping cleanup duties.
Responsibilities
Contact carriers to arrange order pick up.
Perform systematic trailer arrival and departure.
Prepare necessary documentation and contact carriers for pick up.
Provide assistance to customer service representatives concerning order status and specific customer needs.
Correctly use machinery and equipment on the shop floor.
Conduct shop floor operations in compliance with health & safety guidelines and report any non‑compliance.
Operate within standard operating procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Assist with product packaging.
Perform other duties as deemed necessary or assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalency.
Required to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
Must be dependable and able to work overtime with little or no notice.
Computer skills required (Microsoft Word, Excel) and understanding of overall manufacturing operations.
Good communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities and adapt to changing situations.
Good interpersonal skills.
Detailed oriented and team oriented.
Must have work authorization that permits employment in the United States.
