Driver - CDL (Sign-on Bonus Eligible!)

Summary
As a CDL Driver, you will play a crucial role at RNDC by ensuring the timely and safe delivery of products to our customers while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service. You will also have the opportunity to collect non‑cash payments as necessary, contributing to the financial transactions associated with the deliveries.
Responsibilities
Properly conduct a pre‑ and post‑trip inspection, noting any vehicle defects.
Abide by DOT hours of service rules and regulations for your license type.
Deliver invoiced products by bottle, case, pallet or hand‑stack from the delivery truck and record merchandise into customer accounts.
Verify receipt of correct orders with customers, check product type and size against the invoice, obtain customer signature and payment if necessary.
Ensure physical security of the truck at all times.
Deliver to approximately 19 accounts daily (up to 30 accounts during increased activity).
Cover approximately 160 miles daily (up to 200–300 miles during increased activity or out‑of‑town routes).
Possibility to work with one or more helpers.
Provide feedback to transportation management regarding route changes or concerns.
May utilize a smartphone for interaction with hours‑of‑service software and/or driver monitoring programs.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Preferably two years of delivery experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience.
Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
Current Class B CDL driver's license (Class A also acceptable in some locations); meet company vehicle insurance requirements.
Valid DOT medical certification card and file with state Motor Vehicle Department.
ABC license required by state.

Compensation
Starting wage: $31.10 per hour. Hourly, non‑exempt position.
Sign‑On and Retention Bonus
$3,500 sign‑on and retention bonus, paid as follows:
$500 Signing Bonus (paid on 2nd paycheck)
$750 Retention Bonus (paid at 90 days)
$1,000 Retention Bonus (paid at 180 days)
$1,250 Retention Bonus (paid at completion of 1 year)
