Overview

The Selling Partner Services (SPS) team operates the business, technology and seller services that make Amazon the best place on Earth for 3rd party sellers to start and grow a global business. Today, the vast majority of those sellers choose to do so trusting Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) to fully manage their selection from the factory floor to the customer door, enabling sellers to leverage Amazon’s global fulfillment network. Our mission in WW FBA is to enable the long-term success of our sellers by building best-in-class processes and tools that make FBA the simplest, most reliable and profitable channel for our sellers. Our store has enabled sellers of all sizes and origins to compete in an evolving global market, and today WW sellers serve tens of millions of items to customers globally.
Role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to help lead the FP&A space for 3rd party sellers who both sell on Amazon and have their products fulfilled by Amazon. You will partner closely with FBA senior leadership, fee strategy, and teams that support lowering costs and improving seller experience. You will also work with other internal finance teams, controllership, and corporate finance to ensure planning and actual reporting cycles run smoothly, the financial storyline is clearly stated and the right slices of the P&L are built. The successful candidate will have a controllership mindset, focused on improving mechanisms and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders.
Responsibilities

Drive the core financial process for WW FBA including Month-end close, annual operating plans, 3-year strategic plan, long-range plan and Monthly/Quarterly business reviews
Generate insights from financial data, identify opportunities for greater efficiency, and communicate findings with the leadership team to drive business actions
Build and maintain in-depth knowledge of 3rd party seller related initiatives, challenges and opportunities across the business
Collaborate with the fee strategy team to support fee changes and help business teams reduce cost to serve
Influence effectively at all levels, think strategically, organize work across many teams, and take initiative
A day in the life

As the Finance Manager, you will work closely with multiple business and finance teams including controllership, central FP&A teams and fee program leads. You will lead complex financial analysis by engaging cross-functional teams and help leadership shape future decisions and policies.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
4+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy
Preferred Qualifications

6+ years identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying root causes and creating an escalation plan
6+ years solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations with proven impact on business
MBA or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
